I’m glad you posted this. I got a job in a corrections facility. I like everything about it. EXCEPT I am concerned that I won’t feel that “job well done”, “contributing to 1 quality of life”, feelings that you get when you are in other settings. I know these are human beings but they as was said above “believe something is owed to them”. I’m right in the middle as to what to do. Take it and see how things go or don’t take it and move on. Did anyone else have those feelings at a corrections facility? Feelings as though your education could be put to a more worthy cause?
Interesting work I’m sure c multi experience levels, but is it REALLY rewarding?
