Honestly, especially with a new baby you probably need some time off. I know that in a previous career I had I got burned out twice, and it didn’t matter what I did I was always exhausted and I knew when I needed a break when I started to not like my work.
We push out bodies and minds so much and never think to take a break. But if we don’t take care of ourselves, how can we truly take care of our patients. Even if it’s like 3 days off, maybe over a weekend, if you have pto, use it. And during that time off, don’t do ANYTHING work related, don’t even think about cleaning the house or doing laundry or what not. Just plan on relaxing and spending time with your fam. That would be my suggestion and get refreshed 🙂 Hope you try to do this and you feel better!
