I am currently on a “staycation”, working around my house helping my children. It is giving me the “re-charge” that I need. Deb Barger…you are right in a sense. I pray daily that I am doing the best I can for those I am to care for. This time off is not quite given me the luxury of filling out applications for either a new job or to nursing school, but I am getting the break that I so desperately needed.
Yes, I do not “deserve” certain positions in my place of work, but the experience I have should say something, right? Eight years IS almost a life sentence in LTC, but I look at my experience and my seniority (of which I have quite a bit). Each of you have been very happy and I could still use your advice. Thank God for each of you!
