You say your state doesn’t have language about this… call the Board of Nursing and inquire. I would definitely follow the chain of command at your own organization first (perhaps also armed with the Board’s response to your inquiry). If that doesn’t stop the behavior, then notify the Board. If she isn’t actually practicing officially under false credentials their scope may be limited, but it’s worth a shot. In my reporting of the information I might also mention where she says she’s practicing as a nurse so they can investigate if she is. It wouldn’t be the first time I’ve ever seen that happening.
