I don’t think anything good can come from you bringing it up. At best, they won’t care and it will be a non-issue, at worst they will think that back injuries are one of the biggest killers of a nurses career and tend to be long lasting, chronic problems and they won’t want to get involved with someone who is starting off with back problems.
I wouldn’t lie about it, or anything else, because that could come back and get you fired down the road, but the interview you should answer the questions they ask you and they should not be asking about your medical conditions at the interview, and you should volunteer information about yourself which highlights your skills and achievements.
Just make sure the date you give them in which you can start is far enough out that you will be able to work … you don’t want to start your new job by calling in sick for a few weeks.
