I am a LPN, and have been for 22 years. I currently work in a physician office. I can not see where any private practice physician would be able to afford a RN to work in their office. I understand that RN’s have more “book” knowledge, but most LPN’s who have been actively working for over 10 years have experience and knowledge that can not be “taught”. The physician that I work for has taken great lengths to teach me the things that are of the upmost importance to keep his practice going; even when he is out of town for weeks. I believe that LPN’s will survive!
