Jason Hautala RN
My program was set up to get your CNA after one quarter, LPN after 4 quarters, and RN after 7 quarters. I tested and got my LPN license, just for the practice, but I never worked as an LPN. I continued to work as a monitor tech on a tele floor since I had ACLS completed because of my EMT experience. You don’t HAVE to work as an LPN if you are moving on, but work someplace that shows good medical experience.
