Hello, I am currently doing College Network/Excelsior. I chose it because I am a single mother of 3 and at the time I couldn’t get a student loan. I would like to say that you have to be EXTREMELY disciplined. There are no deadlines or time sensitive test. Its all at your own pace. Unfortunately I started with my worse subject (algebra) and thought I would get it out the way. I quickly got discouraged and recently just failed the exam. I knew I wasn’t really but I took it anyway. (another big mistake). Lesson learned, moving on to the next course, Literature, and its not so bad. I plan on taking algebra again in few mths and I’m sure I’ll be ready. While taking my Literature class, I’ll be practicing my weaknesses. Overall, College Network is ok. Again, I’m just starting but other than Algebra stressing me out, I’m hoping the other classes won’t be as difficult. I think with Algebra it was hard cause I had to solve problems, but the other classes is basically memorizing the material…at least that’s what I’m hoping.
