Mommynator: I was going to do that at Gonzaga, here in WA, but I wanted to do it part time, since I’m working full time. When I first looked into it, the only way to do it was to go full time, because they were phasing out the MNP program because NPs are going to have to have a doctorate degree to practice in WA soon. A masters degree can be used for nurse admin, the clinical part of nurse education, but a doctorate will be required if you want to do family practice. Look into your states plan because getting a master’s level degree for nothing would be a shame.
