Working Critical Care for many years, I can honestly say that your Recruiter and Jason are correct. You need all of thee medical=surgical experience that you can get. It allows you to care for and monitor patients with multiple issues that you will have to detect any changes. Use those assessment skills that they taught you in school. Brush up on those meds and their side effects. After a year, consider critical care or Labor and Delivery.
