I understand that it is upsetting but counting narcotics is very important and there is no room for error. Did anyone else have access to the keys during the shift? If they did I would be pointing a finger at them also. I am real sorry for your situation but some of the advice they are giving you about unemployment is not totally true either. If they fired you and claim it was justified you will not be able to collect benefits either. So finding a job is paramount at this time and then fight them if you want to later. It is difficult to fight I believe and they could turn you into your state boards and then that’s a whole other ball of wax to deal with. Good Luck and I am sorry that this happened to you.
