I was working the “do everything” worker in a medical supply store specializing in ostomy care. I asked my boss for a raise after being there 5 years and he said I made enough money. So I started looking for a job. In the paper, nurses were make $21,000/yr, so I decided to go back to school. It was the best decision I ever made.

So the short answer is, for the money, but I take my responsibilities as patient advocate very seriously.
