As a senior nursing student I am terrified that I wont be able to get a job. I feel like I should be focusing on my studies and enjoying My last year but my anxiety is mounting. Will I be a good candidate? thus i have been applying to jobs as a patient care tech , volunteering, and trying to accrue many certifications. But I am getting burnt out prior to the true hunt of a RN job. So I am asking you do you think it is necessary to get a job prior to graduation or do you think its not necessary?? Please HELP!!

As much experience you can get on your resume will help out. If you want to work in a hospital, try to get experience in the hospital you would like to work … let them get to know you as a hard worker before you get your RN and you will have a better chance.

You sound like a high achiever. There is only so much that you can do. But as Jason said, any experience that you can get on that resume is going to help you out.
Now don’t turn your nose up thinking that I am athletic and toned…..many pounds from it. Have you considered meditation, yoga, Zumba, or just brisk walks? I will be honest with you, I have an ADN and BSN. My Senior year of the BSN, I chose hypnosis prior to exams, on the morning of the exams.
I did not want to be made to walk like a chicken or anything (lol), so I chose a personal friend who is a family counselor and my PCP’s wife. I was calm before the exams, but had just enough anxiety to keep me sharp.
    Get that body moving nurserocketeer!
