I’m looking into online MSN Nurse Educator programs, and the list is exhaustive. There is so much to consider. Tuition, rolling-start dates, GRE’s, rate of admission compared with graduation rates, and it’s all important. Can anyone give me recommendations on their school, the cheers and jeers of it? Who best to get the best information; the very nurses that are doing or have done it. Thanks all. Much appreciated.

Hi. I’m attending Grand Canyon University MSN in Nursing Education. No GRE required I’m very happy with the curricula and quality of the instructors! Midrange for cost. About $20k CCNE certified also! Hop it helps.

I just finished my MSN/ED in August through the University of Phoenix. I received a discount through my work but it’s still pretty pricey, about $22,000. Good experience with both my BSN and MSN. My daughter is currently at Grand Canyon University and loves it.

I’m doing mine through Walden University. Turns out it’s the same one my director did. I really love the school, the way the program is laid out, and the instructors are fabulous. No GREs, but they will want all your transcripts obviously. Good luck in your pursuit. I know some nurses who go to Pheonix and said the teachers were awful, but that may be just their perception alone.
