A while ago there were a couple quizzes going around FB which tested how well you can read other people, one was based on just looking at their eyes. I got them all right, and all of my co-workers (ER nurses) did very well.
Nurses in every department can look at someone and know something bad is going on, even if all of the numbers and assessment still looks good. We are taught to go with our “gut instinct.”
