hi- I’m a new grad and started at a hospital in August, mg orientation is done this week. I went on an interview about 2 months ago for my dream position in pediatrics and I found out yesterday I got it. I can’t give this up, but I feel really horrible about leaving my current job after basically just working there with a preceptor for three months and then leaving. Any advice on how I should approach this? Thanks!

Be honest and go … If you wanted, you could offer to stay on PRN, but I would just call it good and move on.

Agree with above, be honest they won’t be happy with you for it but most nurses will understand. Many nurses are not working in their dream job and wished they where.
