A patient in a surgical intensive care unit was asking for a bed pan at change of shift. No one was paying attention to him because they were giving report. The room had big glass ovservation windows. The next thing we knew, we heard a loud thump on his window…. He pooped and threw it at the window and said,”now you can clean it for not helping me” what the heck?!
ROFL!!!!!!! Well, I guess he had a point there. lolol A persons bowel & bladder are not controlled by reports. lololol
There was an elderly patient walking down the hall in his pjs using a walker. We wondered what room he belonged in and asked him as he approached the nurses station where he was trying to go. “Home, I’m going home. How do I get out of here? ” he asked. We checked his arm band and then checked our patient list. His name was not on it. We looked him up on the computer and found he belonged on a completely different floor! I walked him to the elevator and we went back to his floor. “Missing someone? I asked the charge nurse. She looked up and scowled but smiled..”now mr so and so did u run off again?” He was escorted back to his room. “Well if you think that’s something you should have seen where he had his last BM” she said, pointing at the visitors waiting room. “Yeah, in the trash can!” LMAO
