In the world of nursing, I am thankful for a job with a set schedule, so that I can provide for myself, my family, lawyer, my credit card companies, my mortgage companies (both of them) and all of the other monthly expensive I have grown accustomed to.
I’m thankful for my co-workers, without whom showing up for work would be unbearable on some days. They truly are my second family.
I’m thankful for Mighty Nurse, who pays me (a little) to come to a site I was already coming to quite frequently 🙂
I’m thankful for chemical and physical restraints and the quick response time from the local police who keep me safe when things go less than well in the ER.
On the private side, I am thankful for my family, friends, community, but mostly for the wonderful things God has done with my life in ways which totally surprised me.
