CNAs make up such an important part of most healthcare facilities and they make it possible for LPNs, RNs, MDs to do their jobs. We really want to have an active voice of CNAs on Mighty Nurse, because we value your unique perspective on the healthcare system and to learn from you, as you are the ones who get to spend the most time actually taking care of our patients.
If you are a CNA and are reading this, PLEASE invite your co-workers and other CNAs you know to make an account on Mighty Nurse. We can’t do our jobs without you, and the same is true with these forums.
What can I, or Mighty Nurse do to make CNAs feel like they are part of this community? Are there any CNAs willing to write an article for submission to Mighty Nurse? Nurses depend on CNAs … where have you all gone?
There are plenty of professional CNAs who work that position for years or decades, and I would love to hear from you in this forum, as your years of experience at the bedside is so much better than most of the book knowledge I learned in school.
Many CNAs are using it as a stepping stone to continue on to their RNs … those people should be even more active in these forums, as they will eventually full fledged Mighty Nurses.
Send the word out to your CNA co-workers that mightynurse.com is waiting for them. Thank you.
I will spread the word, I think this is a good venue to vent, rant, and to educate each other on some things.
