    Hi all,
I’m a Year 1 student nurse and am currently working on a discussion. One of our tasks is to proritize the different health problems in a 1 year old toddler who is having gastroenteritis.
The actual problems that the toddler are facing:
    1) Diarrhoea
    2) Fever (38.2)
    3)Vomiting
    4) Refusing Oral Intake
This sequence was came up by my group. We noted that it’s not advisable for toddlers to take antidiarrheal medicine and the best way to cure gastroenteritis is to provide adequate fluid and prevent dehydration. We have been debating to have fever placed in the first and diarrhoea second, however, we couldn’t search for any relevant evidence to prove so.

Would apperciate if I can get help through this forum!! Thank you so much!!
