My name is Emily, I’m 17. I have a daughter, Aubrey. She is 19 months old. I am currently waiting for my senior year to start in about a week and a half. This year I’ll be going to VOC to become a cna. After I complete that I plan on going to the local community college to become a L&D rn.

Congrats Emily on figuring out what you want to do at such a young age! I think it’s great that you are will have your CNA skills under your belt before nursing school. Trust me….it will come in handy! I am 41 yrs old….just finishing up the LPN program and wish I had done it 20yrs ago! I have a daughter your age…..Get the education while you are young! Go girl!

Hi Emily, All the BEST 🙂

Hi! My name is Maggie. Nursing is my second career. I chose it because I reslly wanted to help people be well. I am nervous though and over whelmed right now as it is only the second week and have had a two major tests and another one in a week! I sacrificed a lot to go to school and really want to do well.
