I carry my stethoscope, BP cuff, cpr mask and some first aid supplies with me in my car at all times. I am interested to know what any/everyone else keeps in their cars at all times if they happen upon a situation where their skills are needed,

Three times I have been first on scene of major trauma, and all three times I wish I had gloves with me. I still don’t have gloves handy in my vehicle, but I bet if there is a number four, I will really kick myself.

    Benzocaine spray.
Preparation H pads (to clean abrasions … the witch hazel helps stop the bleeding)
    .45 cal pistol
    Quick clot
    Army issue tourniquet
You can buy AEDs fairly cheap now

May sound trivial, but having some clean cloth is also important. One time I saw someone going into a seizure, and didn’t have anything to help him from biting his tongue…too bad. Now I always make sure I have a handkerchief on hand, not so much for me as for others.
