As being a part nursing community, I think we all can agree on Administration and government have driven well educated and compassionate nurses out of the field. Any suggestions? Are there any good paying not so crazy stressful jobs out there. I’ve worked in two hospitals. Last one 14-15 years oncology. I broke my wrist my FMLA ran out tith needing a lot to PT. I was denied any light duty. I spent more time at work then home and no appreciation. I felt like is was a slap in the face. I know better lies ahead. Just not sure where to start. I’ve tired Homecare, home visits, now hospice per diem. And I’m just not feeling the love for nursing like I did years ago. I need the good salary. What opportunities if any are out there for us that we are happy and the patients are too. Used the time away from work got my BSN, but for what? All my co workers are complaining about the bureaucracy in the hospitals so why go back. Any suggestions?

I asked a similar question quite a long time ago … maybe this thread from the past will help you a little?
