Hi all I was wondering if anyone had any advice as to whether to continue on to get my BSN and MSN immediately after graduation or if I should get experience under my belt first before attempting to get my BSN and MSN. Has anyone seen that experience on the floor first assists with obtaining their BSN and MSN. Thanks for any input anyone can give!

There are pros and cons of each. If you get some experience first – you might be able to better take advantage of your classes. You also might make some money to help pay for school and of course experience always looks great on resumes for jobs later. On the other hand, having your degrees may help you get a job or make connections to get a job. You will also learn things that are helpful when you work. Good luck!
