I am looking into a case management job in the pacific northwest. What should I wear to the job interview
    at an insurance company ?
Also, why are there so many case management jobs listed?
What are the pitfalls of this job?

Evidently your region of residence has a need for insurance case managers. A nice dress shirt, dress slacks, dress shoes is an appropriate way to dress for the ocassion. It conveys that you’re serious about securing a position with this company. I pray that Jesus blesses you with favor to gain this job.

Long sleeved dress shirt with a tie, dress slacks, dress shoes, shaved, hair under control, deodorant, and a mint just before the interview. Good luck.

a lot of nurses don’t think case management is “real” nursing because of limited direct patient contact. I have years and years and years of direct patient contact experience, and I like insurance case management just fine. It is applying the clinical knowledge nurses have, and using it to help patients get what they need. Of course, there is also the aspect of conserving the company’s money, so there are denial issues involved. The work is generally not physically demanding, hours are good, and pay is so so.
