Hi all. I am currently a bachelors prepared RN working toward my MSN. I want to eventually become an educator, ideally teaching adult health at a school of nursing. I had originally planned to get my FNP to gain experience and then get an education certificate. However I recently changed my track to an MSN in education. My worry is that when I’m finished I won’t have enough nursing experience to be a viable teaching candidate (I’ll have 3 years experience at that point). Did I make the right decision??
