I know I am not the only one- but it is HARD for me to separate work from home. Example – the LPN who took over for me today at 7 am is the supposed “unit manager” (basically DON’s backbone). She calls me at 759am about someone who called out- granted I forgot because she called at the beginning of the shift and I was giving a med also- A CNA. Then, I get basically yelled out over how I gave insulin ( as ordered) to someone because their blood sugar dropped low. How can I stop this SELF IMPORTANT person without causing conflict that will NEVER END? I am tired of people calling me from on my personal cell- especially when I was asleep and having to come back in less than 8 hours to relieve her. This is a constant thing at this place!!

Block your work number while sleeping, or just put your phone in airplane mode.
