This is your opportunity to say THANK YOU to someone. Who do you want to thank for you becoming the nurse you are today? Do you want to thank your mom for pushing you into it, an instructor who helped you understand your future job, a mentor, a manager, who do you have to thank for giving you that little extra something that makes you a MIGHTY NURSE?

I’ve got a few. My dad for giving me that needed nudge , My family for support and confidence in me, My friend Beth who’s an RN who had confidence and urged me to go. And most of all the last employer that I was a HHA at. They fired me for turning a nurse into my supervisor which lead to an investigation. I sued them :):):) went to nursing school. I feel I was comfortable in my position and if they hadn’t fired me I may had not went on. 🙂

I have to say I’d like to thank my mom. When I was newly graduated from high school and just married my mom signed me up for college for nursing without asking me. I went for a couple of semesters and dropped out to go to work so we could eat, and years later went back and obtained my degree for nursing. I always knew I was supposed to be a nurse and although it took many years to get my liscense I am finally doing what I love and hate at the same time and hopefully helping patients as I go. Thanks mom for starting me out on this destination!
