My state has stopped accepting some online RN programs, even though they are accredited. Is anyone else seeing this change recently? Take home message, check with your state before starting any program to make sure they will accept it.

Do u know what states aren’t accepting on line rn programs.

This is true for any profession in which you need a state licence to practice. I earned an accredited BA Healthcare Admin. Degree, and the State of MN only accepts online programs from 1 Program in the entire country! The same goes for nursing in MN. Check your state licensing board before committing to an online program. DO NOT trust the word of the councilor/salesperson at the online school. Mine ASSURED me that I was on tract for a promising future. The only thing I got was a $35,000 student loan debt. Be CAREFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!

This situation is really frustrating. It is wise to check first on what your state has to say about online RN programs before you engage in any.
