I have had severe test anxiety with test taking and for as long as I have been in school. It has really taken gotten to me since I have beento take my boards. October 15, 2013 was the frist time I went to take my boards and I failed, I was so nervous I could not even concentrate. I went to my doc and she prescribed me a low dose of xanax, I hope it works I should be receiving my att any day now to retake my test I just don’t know what else to do about studying. I live in Ohio and I went to the Mark Klimek review in May but I still didn’t pass. So I went to his review as a refresher and now I am going to try studying ATI again and Saunders. I didn’t have this much trouble when I went to take my LPN boards, and I took HESI that time I am open to any suggestions to study and relax!

See the previous Forum. A Nurse full of test taking skills gives you pointers that I agree with.
Relax and best of luck to you. Oh, and know the effect that the Xanax has on you prior to taking it near the NCLEX.
