    Many years ago a patient told me that “my kind” is only good to wipe butts and to go back where I came from. How do you handle racism comment from a patient in a professional manner without being so defensive. Thanks !!!

    Jason you’re too funny.I think I’ll leave those supplies for you to use with your patient’s so they know who the bad guy is, LOL.

    It’s a shame that someone would even think that let alone say it. I would sply say “I’m sorry you feel that way and by the way I’m “from” _________ insert home town/state here. So sorry you had to deal with that.
