Not once, but twice today, nursing home nurses lied to me in their report to justify sending patients to the ER who did not suffer from what they reported, and actually had no reason to be in the ER in the first place. I’m not sure what their end game was, but it is such a waste of time and money to get the big work up when nothing is wrong … ugh.

    Thank you, rant over.

What happens to you more often than it should at work that really pushes your buttons?

I’ve had that happen (though no-one admits it). Seems it’s usually early in the weekend, especially if it’s to be a holiday weekend. We check them over and send them back.

My rant is people using the ER as primary health care or to get their narcotic fix.

    ‘Nuff said.

People actually use the ER as primary care (I wish I had a sarcasm font.) I feel your pain.
