Hi, all. I’m new here. I am ready to go for my BSN and am really struggling to find the right online college for me. I thought I chose wisely with Ohio University, but I am seeing that they require 192 credit hours to graduate. That seems like a LOT more than others at 120. I am being give 95 credits but 97 more will take 10 years part time! Am I reading this correctly?

I also thought Western Governors sounded good, but going part time means you don’t really make out money wise…..

I’m so confused. I need a class just for figuring out how to go to class!!!! Any advice would be welcome.

I am going to do mine through UT Arlington. I guess it depends on where you live. First, as you may know, you need to make sure that the program you choose is credentialed by the AACN. I know that in Texas, UT is highly regarded for their nursing programs. I do not know why some programs require more classes than others. That may be a money thing. In the end, your state determines hours needed to sit for boards, and all the other is just fluff in my opinion.
