I am a newly licensed new grad nurse going into my first interview for a med surg RN position. I’m wondering if any nurses have advice on being interviewed and or any commonly asked questions I should be prepared to answer. I’m just extremely nervous and looking to get any advice I can. Thanks!!

For sure google nursing interview questions, they are typically unlike other interviews. Have a specific example when you answer. They may ask.. Tell us about a time you didnt get along with a coworker..what was the stiuation? what did you do? and waht was the outcome. They want an example not just…I get along with everyone! Its ok to use examples from previous experiences even if its not in nursing. Have questions to ask of the interviewer. Is there on call? Nurse pateint ratio but do not discuss $$ untill offered the position. Glass Door has many great questions with answers as well as Googgle. Be early, well dressed and SSSMMMMIIIILLLEEEE 🙂
