I’ve heard of some facilities that monitor their employees social media posts and some that go so far as to require that their employees “friend” someone in HR so they can more easily track what is said. People have gotten in trouble for saying things about having a bad day at work or general statements like that. I can understand how you can’t violate patient privacy online, but is there any justification for bringing what is written while off duty back into the manager’s office or the HR office?
