Hello all . I am currently a registered Sanitarian working at a local health Department. Lately I have hit a wall and have been looking into other career paths. A good friend of mine had suggested nursing. I was just looking to see if anyone who had gotten into nursing later in life had any advice or tips to offer. Also , how is nursing as a man.

I did not begin nursing school until I was 37. I have now been nursing 20 years and as hard as some days are… I still love it. My son became a nurse 2 years ago and he feels as positive about it as I do. It is a wonderful way to feel good about the work you do and adds a fulfillment to your life. Good luck and blessing to you.
