I am wait listed. I find out my number within the next few weeks, slight hope. Heard that last year some applicants up to number 30 on the list were accepted.
I probably will contact the school to find out the reason why. From people I have talked to who did and didn’t get accepted there was a great variance in their TEAS score, which is 50%. Know one individual who had A-‘s in their AP1 & 2 with a 3.5 GPA, but a TEA score of 78 get wait listed. Where an individual somewhere in the 80’s on their TEAS, A on AP1, and a B in AP2 get accepted.
My TEAS score was low, which wasn’t concern bringing it up. The areas I struggled with were in AP2 so planned to retake the test after I finished AP2.
I probably will reapply to the program at the end of next year.
Debating to apply to the Physical Therapy Assistant program as well.
Thinking of also applying to two public universities in my State
Also thinking of applying to 1 accelerated nursing program
Then maybe look into one for profit school in the area.
Looking to take Physics, Lifespan, and Statistics next Fall.
