We are working on a group project for school and could really use some help. The objective of this project is to improve the checking-in process at clinics and hospitals. The goal is to go completely paperless and develop an electronic solution to this tedious task. Please take the short survey below, any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
Hi, Thank you for trying to go paperless in your clinic. That is so useful and helpful to a lot of clinics. I really think that you can also do research on google and then type “paperless check in ways.” I think that google would give you some ideas on that very aspect. Good luck and thank you for doing this for your clinic.
Thank you for doing this survey about trying to go paperless in the healthcare system. Here is a link that talks about the healthcare system:
Nurses are learning to go paperless with the medical charting and this article talks about how they are trained in the nursing aspects, but also the medical records aspects as well.
Computers have been so helpful in the medical field and will increasingly do so. I can remember when I volunteered at the PCU unit which is a step down from the critical care unit they used computers for charting and they also used computers for supplies. One of the supply room that the computer had was a robotic voice telling me that there was a patient in the room or no patient in the room. The robotic voice on the computer does also other things like tell people about the supplies in the cabinet which is so helpful. I am thankful that computers are in the healthcare system.
