    If the amount of drug needed is 8.48mLs, do I round up to one decimal point to 8.5 (Given that the syringe has 0.5mL indication)? The reason why I am asking is the lecturer told us the amount should be round down to 8.4mLs which I do not agree.


    the amout needed is 8.48mls I would think to round up to 8.5.

    You round up for .5 and above and round down for .4 and below.. Also some drugs like potassium and dig you do not round at all! Our professor gave us a rounding rule sheet we needed to memorize.

    For Brock…. You can to desired/have x volume for just about every during problem except drip factor questions
