VA Hospital hiring process, how long to wait until I have an offer and or do they send rejection letters?

Hello,
I had an interview 3 weeks ago with the VA.
I phoned the person who interviewed me and asked if they have any new information regarding the position. They said no they did not.
They said all candidates will be contacted by HR.
I phoned HR and all they said is that they have 90 days to respond.
How long does it take for a nurse to get an offer and or do they send out rejection letters?
Waiting is killing me!
Thanks !
Millie

Congratulations on getting an interview! I have been trying to apply for jobs at the VA hospital in my area for 8 months. The web site is confusing and the forms are torturous. I just seem to go from link to link to link with each one stating different forms that are required. Its worse than the motor vehicle department. I don’t know how anyone ever gets a job there.
